Amongst the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire sits a gothic style mansion called Clearwell Castle. First known as Clearwell Court, it was built in the Gothic style by Thomas Wyndham in 1727 this history provides a truly unique location for Weddings. Cassandra & Thomas wanted to have a Wedding that celebrated their true love for one another and I don't think you could have picked a more perfect venue suited to them. Upstairs is a beautiful laid out bridal suite which was so perfect for Cassandra to get ready in the morning. The big windows and beautiful reflections gave such an elegant feel to proceedings. Once Cassandra made her way downstairs one of my favourite parts about Clearwell Castle is the walk of the bride from the entrance down the aisle past the beautiful roman style pillars and towards the long windows where her groom Thomas awaits. Family & friends travelled from destinations across the UK and worldwide including Malaysia. Cassandra's mum was such an adorable person truly besotted with her daughter and watched over her throughout the whole day in such a loving and caring way.

Clearwell Castle is surrounded by beautiful gardens and forestry which we used throughout the day for couple shots with Cass & Tom. Speeches weren't long but completely heartfelt. I particularly liked listening to Cassandra's father speak about his time in the UK and Swansea in particular and how Cassandra followed him there years later to complete her university studies.
